My comment was related to the original post. That post referred to a video of Rick Santorum discussing a woman with a cell phone and cable account complaining about the $200 she had to pay for health care. The point he made was that she needed to prioritorize, as most responsible people do when they must live within a limited budget.
To raise the issue of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars is changing the subject. Neglecting to mention the Nobel Peace Prize winner's illegal war on Libya shows a willingness to look the other way when you can't blame it on BUSH(!!!). > Taxpayer subsidized the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, two prime examples > of bad behavior and bad choices. No, wait. We didn't "subsidize > them. We f!⁄*°°ing paid for them. No, wait. We didn't pay for them, > past tense. We'll continue to "subsidize" that "bad behavior and bad > choice . . ." for decades to come. Like that? Is that what you > mean? Maybe people should make more choices based less "on their > priorities" and more on what is morally and ethically right. > > Sorry, I seem to be stuck on the idea that war is bad. The baddest > bad. The stupidest priority. > > Francis wrote: > ". . . people that expect taxpayer to subsidize bad behavior and bad > choices." > Francis Drouillard, PE Novato, CA 94945 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "StrataList-OT" group.
