I didn't have time to reply, but we all had a chuckle about that comment at the farmer's market earlier. We did fine here, and the aftershocks haven't felt like much either. Was quite a shake but the house rode it like a wave. Just before it started shaking, both dogs walked into the room and stood looking at me. I'm not sure what they wanted me to do, but I ran down and checked the basement anyway, stood in the doorway and watched. Very comforted to see how steady it was. Of course, the proximity of the local nuke plant isn't comforting at all, especially in light of http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/08/23/virginia-nuclear-plant-had-quake-sensors-removed-due-to-budget-cuts/ Ironically, the epicenter was in Cantor's district and this: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/08/23/1009894/-Remember-when-Eric-Cantor-wanted-to-cut-disaster-funding Wish the focal point of all that irony wasn't just 30 miles thata way. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "StrataList-OT" group.
