Neat. The title of your post lead me to believe that someone had set up a 3-d 
printer to print out lego bricks...

Back in the 80's, during a stint working at General Foods's testing labs, and 
(coincidentally) my first professional programming job I was working with an 
oddball HP 'DOS' system (they were running a version of DOS on a 68000 motorola 
CPU!), and the only prointer I had access to was a HP 6-pen plotter. I still 
have a printout of those programs carefully inked out by the plotter 
line-by-line.
