A question from the EggBot forum:

"Is there a simple software program available with which I can take my
2D
drawing and map it onto a 3D egg or sphere to simulate what it would
look
like after plotting with the Eggbot. This would help me see what kind
of
distortions I would get before I do the actual plot. I know that there
are
many 3D creation programs but most of them are too complicated or too
expensive. I wonder if there is something simple.

Does an open source program like Blender allow one to take a drawing
and
then map it onto the surface of a simulated egg or sphere?"
