Thanks!

We did get power back last night, so most of the damage was to the fridge.
Weirdly, having the power off made some folks realize they could do without
their macs for a day or two, so I've had some tech support victims arrive in
the Time of Darkness. Lots of trees down, taking power lines with them, between
me and the nearest main line. Seemed like the trees were aimed though, a lot of
near-misses but fewer ruined houses, garages, and lives than Isabel. Feeling
pretty lucky, hope that lasts, hurricane season runs to Dec.

Reported gusts of 71 and 91 in the local area, sustained was really interesting
to watch but I could go a long time without any more of those. My house
weathered it well, but I'll have to nail the garage roof back down. Now I know
where all the hurricane lamps, lighters, matches, water bottles, fans, and rugs
are, and the yard is all picked up, well...except for the debris, but that'll
mostly mow. Mostly. Anyone want any incredibly vile smelling black walnuts?
They ooze green! :)
