I agree with Glenn on this this is a horrible, HORRIBLE precedent. Of course, when Bush got up on national TeeVee and admitted to violating FISA to millions and nothing happened, then the law that the Administration promised would never be applied to American citizens was almost immediately applied to an American citizen, and nothing happened, and we admitted we were torturing people, and nothing happened...I knew we were on this road. This is a horrible fucking thing for the Administration to do. Bin Laden was a very gray area; this was not. I have no doubt some future president will find ways of bending this to include domestic enemies.
