Yep, that's what the 'Archive Mailbox' command is for. You cant then browse the archived emails without re-impoirting them or not. However, the mail archivesare stored in .mbox format, so you can use mhonarc <http://www.mhonarc.org/>, Mac installer here <http://liepins.org/en/mac/mhonarc/> in conjunction with MacMhonArc <http://liepins.org/en/mac/macmhonarc/> to create web-browseable archives; burn those to cd or dvd and you're set.
