I ran across that on a forum debating safety issues with big dogs and small children, where some folks were upset about that toddler roaming loose amidst the dogs. I don't think any child has ever been more safe than that one! :) There are some more of those, I like this one because you can hear them before you see them all. http://youtu.be/BPV2LHdtTzY That wall of tongues when she turns around is hilarious. If I had an island... One big difference between guard dogs like Sts, and guardian breeds like Anatolians, is that after a few minutes you would only be able to see a few of the Anatolians. Some of them would create an inner perimeter around you, and one or two would walk right next to you to make sure your path was clear. The rest would be setting up a perimeter and watching the horizon for threats, and they would self-organize. You wouldn't have to teach or command them to do that, it's just how they think. I hope to have some more land one of these days, and you know I'll have more dogs. :) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "StrataList-OT" group.
