"Tonight, about 6:15, we saw a young African/American male walking from
Haight toward Hamilton on Bruce. He was carrying something large,
wrapped in a blanket. He stuffed the 'loot' into a garbage can and began
to roll the gargage can down the street, past Jergens Park. We
confronted him and the can was taken from him, and he ran toward
Virginia on Bruce. The police were called, came, and claim to know who
the theives were. If you're missing a very expensive piece of Apple
equipment, please contact the police. They have your property."
