If such a stimulus had really been tried, it WOULD have worked. The vast majority of the "stimulus" went to tax cuts, which are really bad at stimulating the economy, particularly comoared to, say rebuilding infrastructure. This is what really gets me about the conservative scorpions such as yourself: investing in better roads, modernized electrical grids, renewable energy sources, etc really does lift all boats...but you're so committed to your hatred of any form of government that you'll sting the frog midstream. If we had done that instead of pissing about with tax breaks that don't work, we would be a lot further along to a complete recovery that would have benefitted both the workers and the Kock pinheads of the world...but you wouldn't have 'won', and more importantly, Obaam would have looked good and the oonly legislative goal of the Republicans since January 20 2009 has been defeating Obama.
