that seems to be the answer to my ram hogging safari. i enabled 32 bit mode from the get info box and by monitoring the activity...seems to be a significant change for the good. i saw upwards of nearly 3 gig of ram being gobbled up after i mazed out the ram for this device...after a couple hours it's about 800 MB...i'll keep both eyes on it.
