Say WAHAAA? It DID go the normal legislative process. FOR MONTHS! Remember the senate comitteee composed of EQUAL NUMBERS of Republican and Democratic members, even though the Democrats held a bare working majority in the senate (Since the Republicans discovered the filibuster, the working majority in the Senate to pass ANYTHING is 60 votes, even though using the filibuster by the democrats threatens the very foundations of our Democracy, according to those same Republicans.) Perhaps, Francis lives in a sealed off, rubber walled room in some sanatarium somewhere where hideous mental experiments are done to him to alter his view of reality (like continual exposure to RedState, Fox News, Rush and Glenny), but here in the real world the passage of the ACA was a horribly long, drawn-out, hard fought, exhaustively legislated thing. They made legislative sausage in front of the whole world for MONTHS. I remember the screamers all summer howling at their representatives about deathpanels and marxism, like the marxist ACA, based on a state law signed into law by his current most-likely republican rival, and originally devised by that socialist, hard left pinko Alinskyite think tank "The Heritage Foundation". -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "StrataList-OT" group.
