I think Bruce is forgetting that it's already been established that some folks are physically incapable of receiving new data, and got a little steamed at what appears to be willful ignorance of how insurance works. If you think of the mandate to possess either some type of insurance, or pay a fee (which carries no penalty for failure to do so, btw) as similar to auto insurance laws across the country, the histrionics on display against the ACA take on the effect of a 3 year old banging his feet and fists while holding his breath. Btw, glad to take advantage of all the small business tax breaks this year, finally kicking in from Dec '10, really helps a lot to take accelerated depreciation of equipment, and more deductions for basic expenses.
