They do. Unlike liberals, they understand it, too. Besides that, it's not a "sacred text." That would be something like a Bible or the Quran. The US Constitution is a document that limits federal power. Liberals always try to skew its meaning to expand the size and scope of federal government, then squeal like stuck hogs if anyone dare defend its original intent.
