Is it laziness or willful refusal to search for the real culprit? In the case
of my friends here in 2006, the lead detectives were so star-struck by the
famous people associated with the case that they flat out ignored information
given by witnesses and tried to frame my neighbor, even went so far as to
subpoena his 3 year old daughter. We had a week of circus-show behavior from
our local police until a much more attentive detective in another city followed
through on a call and located the murderers. Had the police in another
jurisdiction followed through on the original murder those two did two months
earlier, 7 people would be alive today and a young man would still have the use
of his right arm.

Really glad they're doing DNA testing now, and hope they continue, I had heard
Perry wanted to stop 'wasting' money on that project.
