Or maybe the straw man argument. (Skeptics deny climate change.)
Or ride the bandwagon. (Everyone knows it's true!)
Or a phony appeal to authority. (All credible scientists agree that
anthropogenic CO2 is adversely affecting climate.)
Or composition/division. (It's true that CO2 is a GHG, therefore it's true that
CO2 increases warm the Earth.)
Or Texas sharpshooting. ("Hide the decline.")
Or the false cause. (Increased levels of anthropogenic CO2 lead to global
warming climate change.)
Or the appeal to emotion. (The polar bears are dying!)
Or ad hominem attacks. (They're funded by the oil companies! The rich! The Kock
brothers!)
Or tu quoque (You deniers will never accept any proof of global warming climate
change.)
