Oh wow, whoodathunkit. The Propaganda arm of the Republican/Conservative movement thinks that the Democrats are wrong. Stp the presses. No seriously, stop the presses...you're printing bullshit. The deficit is where it is primarily because of two things: The Bush tax cuts, and two unfunded wars: <http://www.cbpp.org/cms/index.cfm?fa=view&id=3036> Unemployment is stubbornly high because there's a lack of demand. Why is there a lack of demand? Because ideologues have decreed that "Austerity" will magically increase the GDP. Because when individual households aren't spending, and business aren't spending because individual households aren't spending, then reducing government spending will suddenly make it all better shut up Obama's a kenyan impostor thats why! The economy won't get better until people start buying things again. People won't start buying things again until they feel secure in their jobs and income. Making people feel insecure in their jobs and income is a positive for the 1&'ers, it keeps labor costs low. The lazziez faire social darwinism you advocate as the solution to our economic woes is dead set against the policies that enable the middle class to thrive. You would make the lower and middle classes (those who derive most or all of their income from wages and salaries) foot the entire tax bill, leaving the wealthiest to go off scot free because their income derives from investemnt returns, because they're 'the jaaaab cerators!!'. No the "job creators" are the people who buy things that companies sell for a profit. No company owner is going to hire more people because their tax bill is reduced. Don't be insulting. They'll just keep the money as added profit. The ONLY reason, EVER a company will hire more workers is because there is a demand for their service or product that the existing employees cannot meet. Giving more money to the 1%'errs will never create more jobs, except maybe as more servants for their multiple homes. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "StrataList-OT" group.
