He wouldn't be pestering the State of Hawaii without any legal right to if he wasn't trying to make a case about it.
The president has presented his birth certificate, more than once. Hawaiian authorities have affirmed that it is the correct one and legal. He was elected, there was no complaints from the electoral college regarding his eligibility at the time, the ONLY people still bringing it up are the nutcases like you. Bennet could have simply told all those constituents " The president has proven more than once that he was born in Hawaii. Regretfully, you are misinformed, there needs to be no official enquiry by my office. President Obam is the duly elected president of the US, and is a US citizen." No, he's gone very public on this, to the pint of intimating that he may strike Obama's name from the state ballot. He is not making a similar enquiry about Romney's birth certificate. If it knuckle-drags like a birfer, stinks like a birfer and babbles incoherently like a birfer, it's a birfer. Regardless of the nutpicked quote you offered, SOS Bennet is very much behaving as a birfer.
