I just tried to make an iTunes purchase & had to create 3! "hints" and
add a 2nd email address.
Naturally, I couldn't make my purchase til I verified my 2nd email. So
much for instant gratification.
I really got the impression they were just fishing for more info.....

well i am getting royally pissed off with having to come up with 9
characters lower case and upper case numurals and $%^& what is wrong
with these people they know math they know encryption
they know algorithms why can't ordinary people put in stupid
passords and have the transposed to inviolate able binary ... it
seems easy to me ... though I must admit I would have to read a few
bits of info to do it but it seems achievable ..... if they can sent
me fat ads and how lose it ads and how to get rid of wrinkles I don't
have ads why can't they encrypt my stupid passwords ... I have
taken to using very rude phrases using 3 as E and @ as where they
should put it
its lazy they know the math they are just putting the liability back
to us stupid users
bearing in mind i recently had to deal with seperate gov depts. all
requiring the above mentioned
extreme password entries .. i am never going to remember them ... it
is going to be [even if I have written them all down] and exercise
in extreme futility ... you have to have an extra email address just
to deal with mistyped passwords .... it ludicrous
