Oooh nice, erm, lie there. The XLPipeline is blocked by the State Department. Oil Companies in the Gulf have no one but themselves to blame. THEY'RE the ones that keep operating wells and drilling in a slipshod manner, or would you rather just turn the gulf coast into a massive waste site? I never said "The EPA doesn't impose costs". You said it was a "the Employment Prevention Agency." Personally I'd rather pay the costs of environmental regulations than pay the costs of environmental degradation. Finally most of your screed has nothing to do with the EPA "These state and local bureaucrats wield too much power and they've essentially stifled development along the coast, even development that is consistent with the Coastal Act." You're railing against what you normally rail for: states rights. Look this is your local, close-to-home government in action. Instead of one set of laws, you have a patchwork of a 50 sets. You are the one arguing that this is BETTER. I'm sorry you're running into such nonsense getting your home built. It does sound onerous. But then, look across the street. That's what happens without this. -- Bruce Johnson "Wherever you go, there you are" B.
