Watched a story about a light rail system (Charlotte?). The reporter
looked at total annual operating costs & rider totals/fares & deduced
that each rider was subsidized to the the tune of, I dunno, $5. ok
Then he warned in an ominous voice that ridership was _increasing_. Like
that was going to up the subsidy rate/amount.....
