At least poker is a game of skill as well as chance. If I sit down at the table with Phil Ivey or Daniel Negraneau at least I know they're there; they'll still cream me, because they're expert players and I'm not, but I made that choice fully informed.
This is playing against people who aren't even at the table, who peek at the deck before it's dealt, then bet against me.
