Thanks. Looks like we'll get off with a tropical storm, unless she turns early. 
I'm a bit obsessed on the satellite view just now. :) There was a pretty 
thorough walk through earlier today on wunderground. She's big and nasty, and 
may actually loop back and bring snow if the temps keep dropping. Nobody's sure 
except for that damage will be done.

and I've been watching the wxrisk facebook page all week - he started talking 
about a sharp left turn and high winds along the coast on monday. He's usually 
right, so he's who I listen to on big weather events.

his website is horrorshow, and he can't spell, is quite arrogant, and swears a 
lot. Amazingly good maps though, and he's predicted every storm for the last 
few years.
