At this point it's abundantly clear that the Romney campaign is pursuing a "post-truth" campaign. He's doing this just like Bain…identify a company worth looting, and sell the owners/operators on the Bain vision for "improvement". It only benefits Bain, of course, but that's entirely the point. They didn't take over solvent companies and load them up with debt and management fees to help the companies… His presidential campaign is the same…say anything, anything at all that'll close the deal, and rely on the mark's greed and/or ignorance to cary through the sale. He's not running for President because he wants to help the country, he's doing it to loot it, for him and his plutocrat cronies. "Chrysler is closing Jeep plants in Ohio and moving it all to China" is just exactly that kind of move. it is absolutely a lie, but he;s going to continue hammering on it because it's effective. > > Why doesn't the question of eminent domain ever come up in the debate about > women's personal decisions? "Eminent Domain" is at the heart of their arguments: you are property, whose function is to produce sons and/or more property. This is the heart of the abortion arguments, of the contraception arguments, of the nonsensical comparison of pre-marital sex to rape. You are no more allowed agency than they'll allow their horses to roam free.
