All along, Romney's big claim to fame was 'Competent, hard-nosed businessmann';
Ryan 'A real numbers guy'. They were supposed to be so much better at running
thing sthan some muzzy-headed community orgamizer from Kenya.

(note, the people in charge of Romney's website and IT stuff snagged some of
those $50K bonuses in August…That was money well spent!)

They believed their own bullshit; against the folks who were dead on.

As Megyn Kelly said to Karl Rove on election night, in what is possibly the
most amazing leakage of Truth from Fox News ever: "Is this just math you do as
a Republican to make yourself feel better?"

They couldn't even run the capaign in a competent, reality-based fashion. We'd
be up to our necks in HeckuvaJobBrownies.

Also, I suspect that a lot of it was the intoxicating fumes off of Faux News
Bullshit Mountain.

My favorite is still Stewart Varney "I don't believe all that scientific
gobbledegook!"
