It was sent by a guy in Guam who makes these things for collectors to a customer in Italy. Apparently the package with the real address tore open in the Hilo processing center in Hawaii, and the outer package went one way, the inner another, with the 'correct' Zip code for the University written on by a helpful postal employee who mistook the Egyptian stamps for a real cancellation. The artist graciously let the UofC keep it, and is sending another to his customer. It is, indeed going into the University of Chicago Oriental Museum where it belongs. Hopefully with adequate documentation so some poor scholar in the 22nd century doesn't stumble upon a dusty old package addresses to a Professor Jones, and go haring off looking for the Ark...:-) -- Bruce Johnson "Wherever you go, there you are" B.
