On another list (for the old SF role-playing game 'Traveller') this just came 
over the transom

"But my current version of the novel starts out with an Objectivist dealing 
with a situation that combines elements of BLADERUNNER and MY FAIR LADY."

This is by a serious self-described Randian who has delusions of literary 
grandeur, who started the thread by slagging a Gordon R. Dickson novel 
(Dorsai!) as 'wordy', and who described 'a truly objectivist world' thusly: 
"Think of an American small town without churches, without bible-thumpers 
trying to run the place, or those annoying Klansmen." 

The din of irony meters exploding was like loud popcorn.

I cannot WAIT for this magnum opus to see the light of self-publishing day...
