This is by a serious self-described Randian who has delusions of literary grandeur, who started the thread by slagging a Gordon R. Dickson novel (Dorsai!) as 'wordy', and who described 'a truly objectivist world' thusly: "Think of an American small town without churches, without bible-thumpers trying to run the place, or those annoying Klansmen." The din of irony meters exploding was like loud popcorn.
