But seriously this is exactly why I stay the hell off major streets in this town. (well that and some streets have nice wiiide bike lanes…that you get to share with BUSES, and all the cars turning right...) I can say, almost with certainty, that a) this is some cranky old asshole with a perpetual rage-on, aimed right now at the goddamn dirty smelly faggoty hippies on bikes always clogging up HIS road and b) this was a typical bunch of "winter training in Tucson" roadie asshats riding 3 and 4 abreast and the lead alpha male (it's ALWAYS a male) was riding right on the outermost edge of the bike lane marker, because this is what they do, so they can piss off the rubes in the cars, for the lulz. I know this so well because a major street by my house is one of their favorite haunts, especially on weekends when they all get out in their best wannabe team jerseys (Yeah dude, you and that beer gut ride for team Radio Shack, 'cause you and Lance, man, bros!) and think they're such l334 pr0 biXors that everybody else should just get out of the way, cause they have $5k carbon fiber bikes and wear lycra.
