That judge just rendered all those anti-gay marriage state amendments moot, once this percolates up to the Supremes, because after Windsor, the Court would be unlikely (I hope!) to reverse itself so incoherently. If Fat Tony had a microgram of judicial integrity, he'd have to agree that his words were valid, that the whole 'equal protection under the law' thing really does apply to gay people as well as straights.
