the rain here seems to have stopped ... yes there is a big difference between a deluge and days and days of quiet to medium rain in showers etc .. the problem here [at least in the city] is the ground is so saturated that the new rain just runs off the top flooding streets and some of the storm channels are so full and blocked they spill over with just a little more rain .. good for germinating the weeds though !
