I personally endorse the solution Brian mentions below. Apple encrypts data
both in transit and at rest in their iCloud solution, 128-bit AES and AES-256,
depending on which bits you're talking about.
1Password also allows you to share a vault with another 1Password user. For
instance, let's say I was going to migrate Brian and Mugsy to my new colocation
server with unlimited bandwidth. If they were both using 1Password, I could
send them their new server credentials via 1Password and cleartext email.
Wouldn't that be convenient, and stuff?
We use 1Password at my day job, too. A mostly-remote team of linux dorks
sharing a vault via Google Drive. That vault holds the keys to the (cloud)
kingdom. In Googul We Trust™.
