I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with bad news lately; in addition to global
events, the "revelation" that this is a hideously racist country, and directly
experiencing erratic weather, it seems also a season of deaths for friends and
family. Looking for escape, I wound up on a page of webcams from
nature-observation sites all over Estonia. Some of them have amazing audio; a
few unfortunately include the sounds of encroaching humanity. A bit of soothing
respite nonetheless. http://pontu.eenet.ee/
The one on the lower left corner is a favorite because of the raccoon dogs and
pileated woodpeckers, but that one also has bears.
