If it can, it should be available in the camera settings; some android devices 
can, some cannot. I found references to LD and Samsung phone settings. 

Maybe look into some cheap GoPro clones? A lot of them will shoot at 120 or 240 
fps, just not in 1080 0r 720 HD.

Now if you want to be the bestest brother ever in the whole world, you could 
get her an iPad Air 2 for christmas which shoots at 120fps in HD :-P
