I'm marking this as done because I think between some recent enhancements to
ReflectUtil and the creation of BeanUtil (the facade to the new property
expression stuff) more than fulfills this. There are facade methods which
allow you to determine the type of a property expression for a given bean, and
manipulate the value (get/set etc.).
If there are more specific things that would be useful to those building
auto-crud forms etc. just log a request.
