Hey Patrick, A couple of things. Another way folks have suggested is to just add an additional attribute to the tags to control this behavior. Right now I'm more partial to that as it's more controllable. I wouldn't be against it being defaulted based on whether the target method has validation turned on or off (you're going to use the action resolver to figure this out right?)...
