Sorry for the slow response. Yes, I've been talking to Patrick about this off-list. I think in general it's a good idea. Where I'd like to get to is a single filter that can operate in one of three modes:
1) just as the Stripes filter does now 2) just as the dispatcher 3) both of the above Once that's done the rest should be pretty easy (no pun intended).
