NullPointerException in FlashScope.getContainer(...) method

I get NullPointerException when I do ForwardResolution to another Action.
e.g.
public Resolution storeMethod() {
//... some logic here
//.html suffix is configured for Stripes ActionBeans
return new ForwardResolution("/DoSomething.html?id=123&editMethod=");
}
and I'll see in console following stack trace:
