+1, I've thought about this as well. The existing integration stuff could be deprecated, and a < 10 line SpringInstaintator, GuiceInstiantator, etc could possibly be provided or not. My only gripe about it is that anyone committing in the future will have to know about it or it will lead to strange bugs.

Should be pretty simple to wire up - just look for all newInstance() calls and abstract them out to a factory that can be plugged in. I've got my Guice/Hibernate/Stripes/DWR stack almost completely working now. It turns out Hibernate had the right plugins/extensions for what I needed, so it's only Stripes that I need to fork right now ;) Pat ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Stripes-development mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/stripes-development ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Stripes-development mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/stripes-development
