Carl Krig commented on STS-831:
-------------------------------

And I was so happy with the patch, will never post a use-case again.. =D

I had missed out on the .setAnchor(), and if it works as I'm guessing then it
will probably do the trick without the need for the patch in this particular
case.

However, one might argue that the hashtag is presentation-rules that sometimes
are best put in the jsp rather than in the ActionBean, and if you agree to that
then in those cases it isn't really "hacking the tag" but more "going with
what's there". So I do really appreciate the patch, still! =)

Another use-case I did not first think of was when working with layered forms
(div style="display: none; visibility: hidden;" and flip-floppying them in the
body onload), and those are probably more commonly seen on frontend apps. Time
will tell if we can go with setAnchor() for them all or if there will be a mix
of hashtagged (with the patch) and setAnchored in the end. (At this moment, I
believe we do <hidden..> to preserve state, to keep the logs clear of those
error messages, and that still itches.)

Again, thnx.

> Problem:
> <form action="/My.action#my"> gives an ERROR ... tag.FormTag - Could not
> locate an ActionBean that was bound to the URL [/My.action#my]. Without an
> ActionBean class Stripes cannot determine whether the ActionBean is a wizard
> or not. As a result wizard behaviour will be disabled.
> Expected:
> Properly bind to same as "/My.action" would have. More specifically, drop the
> hash mark and everything that comes after.
