Hello,

I've asked a similar question before but I need to ask again... Sorry!

Is there any way in Stripes validation where I can specify the key the
is used to look up the name of a field? I know from here:

http://www.stripesframework.org/display/stripes/Localization

That Stripes will first use the action path along with the field name,
and failing that it will use just the field name as the key.

I have no problems with that other than my company uses a separate
database-driven application to store key-value pairs for text. It does
provide a custom implementation of a ResourceBundle, but unfortunately
the keys that Stripes supplies by default don't play nicely with the
custom ResourceBundle. If there were a way for us to specify the key
that Stripes uses to lookup field names during error conditions?
Ideally this would simply be another attribute on the validation
annotation but I know that's not available.

Any other ideas on how I could achieve this functionality? Maybe I
could have a method annotated with @Validate that always looks at the
errors (if there are any) and tries to change the key that is used. But
I don't know if that would even work or if it's feasible to use.

Any other comments or ideas greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!!!
