So many questions...
What version of Stripes?
Any logs?
What does your persistence model look like? Raw SQL? Hibernate?
What's the database? MySQL? MS SQL Server? Postgres?
Are you using any interceptors that manipulate the context at all?
Can you give us a code snippet (JSP + ActionBean)? Just the parts that
pertain to the upload.
There could be hundreds of reasons why it is not working--we need more
information in order to help you.
