Will, I've got to hand it to you, you've got a way with words :)
As Nikita Ivanov put it on the same thread "This is really probably  
the biggest framework plug (or a hijack) that I've seen so far on  
TSS :)".

On another part Will, I totally agree with you on your  serverside  
component framework point. It's beyond my understanding that we still  
start up projects using JSF or Wicket.
What are those components doing on the serverside? They only exist to  
to provide life on the client side, so put them there.
The only, very small argument, I see for serverside components, is  
that you can easily associate private data with a component without  
exposing it to the client.
