I just tried this on a fresh project with 1.5RC1 and it fails in 1.5 as well.
Also, I realized that if Spring is not in your classpath, then the test will
throw an exception so need to change this line
filterParams.put("Interceptor.Classes",
"net.sourceforge.stripes.integration.spring.SpringInterceptor,"
+
"net.sourceforge.stripes.controller.BeforeAfterMethodInterceptor");
to
filterParams.put("Interceptor.Classes",
"net.sourceforge.stripes.controller.BeforeAfterMethodInterceptor");
