Hi Tim, I think that the HREF solution was suggested as a placeholder during development to address your specific concern. When the action bean is available, you'd switch from the href to using the beanClass attribute. If no action bean exists, then the pre-action pattern has to be relaxed while building the JSP anyway, right?
