Hi,
A funny thing happened at work today that I thought I would share with
stripes community for no particular reason.
I was working with another programmer making some improvements to how we
were reporting validation errors on a page armed with Freddy's book at our
side. As we worked and got a complete grasp of how to do everything and how
easy it was, for some reason, in reference to the 1973 William Friedken
classic, I uttered the words "THE POWER OF STRIPES COMPELS YOU".
That caught on like wildfire and pretty soon we were all saying it to each
other over and over again with ever increasing intonation accuracy. You
probably had to be there but it was pretty funny. Mostly because it sounds
so close to the original famous quote.
