So I'm not losing it by preaching stripes in my workplace...hahahaha...but yea,
Stripes rocks especially when you come from a 'convoluted framework
background'..lol

anyway, welcome back

I have been in Spring MVC land for the past 4 months, and really missing
Stripes. It is hard to imaging things that are so easy and natural in Stripes
can be so difficult in other frameworks.

One example that I have been pulling my hairs out the past few days was trying
to get the onSubmit() to report errors. It looks like all validations has to be
done in the onBindAndValidate() method. Once you pass that point and landed in
onSubmit() - if the service methods report any errors - there is no way to
retain the form values and return gracefully for the user to fix the errors.

Crazy right? I used to accept these as 'fact of life' till I start using
Stripes.

Anyway I have been away for a while, just feel like drop back to say hello.

3 years into Stripes - I still maintain that it is way ahead of other
frameworks.

Cheers,
Yee
