Nathan,

I agree, and my employer has a repository manager that proxies for repo1.
We have installed artifacts manually.  It is the exception, not the rule.

If I had to sell Stripes to my boss, installing every new release manually
would be a considerable mark against adoption.
If the community is okay with that, that is their choice.  I'm just voicing
this fact, and trying to give leads to a possible solution.
