Sounds good, can't wait to try 1.6 and it's new objectfactory. Do you know
how stable the 1.6 development version now is? Is it already good enough to
start developing on it? Is their any target release date?

IOC and AOP works only when beans are instanciated by Spring. As
ActionBeans are instanciated by Stripes and not Spring @Autowired
doesn't work.
This is fixed in the coming 1.6 release (see
http://www.stripesframework.org/jira/browse/STS-633).
