Well, I never said or believed that you were being critical.

I'm not sure how "the ObjectFactory lets you take control over how Stripes
objects are instantiated" is not a clear answer... :-) Because really,
that is all, no more, no less.
Sorry... but "lets you take control" does appear vague to me... :-P

The key for me is in understanding that it allows constructor based Spring injection. Your book was quite clear in stating that this was a limitation of the current 1.5.x Stripes support... and that little nugget is quite important... especially when presented against the alternative code that I mentioned.

In any event, when I asked if I was missing anything you did say "Well, maybe nothing. That's up to you to decide ;) "

So I decided once I received Nathan's response after yours that indeed I was indeed missing something :-P
