While I love the punchline in this one, I don't like the negative connatation. 
Are you suggesting Stripes framework has nothing better to offer than just 
"doesn't suck" improvement? How about something in the area of excitement like 
IntelliJ's IDEA?

"Stripes: The gem of web development" or "Stripes: complexities of web made 
simple"

That's what Stripes does, makes complexities and perplexities (not to mention 
picky customers/requirements) seem irrelevant.

Been passively following this thread... and I just want to defend the use of 
the word "suck."

While seemingly "unprofessional" it is not without precedent: the Macintosh 
text editor BBEdit uses "It doesn't suck."

Why not twist Freddy's title a bit: "Stripes: because Java web development 
doesn't have to suck."
